From our humble beginnings, K. Jamson Group has grown into a leading distributor by focusing on strong relationships, unwavering quality, and anticipating the needs of our B2B clients. We celebrate 50 years of delivering excellence.

1930s

The Kan family established K. Jamson Shoe Co in Hong Kong, handcrafting quality shoes for visiting sailors. This marked the beginning of a legacy that has endured for generations.

1950s

K. Jamson received prestigious licenses from the Canadian and US Navy, allowing them to board battleships and conduct business—a testament to their professionalism and integrity.

1975: Rooted in Canada

The K.Jamson Group plants its flag in Toronto, opening our first K.Jamson store and vowing to become Canada’s trusted name in premium travel gear.

1998: Entry into B2B Solutions

Recognizing a growing need, we pivoted to focus on high-volume B2B solutions for corporate and institutional clients.

1999: First Mega Store

K. Jamson launched Luggage City, with a 5,000 sq ft flagship store in Woodbridge, proudly becoming the largest travel superstore in Canada.

2000: Recognized in the Industry

K. Jamson receives Best Dealer and Best Retailer awards from the Luggage & Leathergoods Accessories Association of Canada.

2010: Diversification & Anti-Theft Gear

Expanded our product portfolio to include specialized anti-theft and tech-integrated travel accessories.

2021–2024: Resilience & Legacy

Navigating COVID-19 challenges, K. Jamson emerged stronger—today operating 6 physical and 4 online stores, proudly upholding a legacy of professionalism, quality, and exceptional service.

2025: 50th Anniversary & Future Forward

Celebrating five decades of trust and innovation, we look forward to another 50 years of empowering brands.

On October 7, 2025, K.Jamson proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary in Canada. We were deeply honoured to welcome hundreds of distinguished guests from the political, business, and community sectors, including:

The event successfully raised $11,800 CAD in support of the CareFirst Foundation, contributing to essential healthcare and social services for seniors and families across our community.
